First in India and World Solar PV on Train

India has started a new chapter in renewable energy on 15th October 2015, the birthday of Dr.  Kalam.  It has started Climate Action Special  -  Science Express Train that will cover 20 states and give knowledge about conservation of environment through use of Science and Technology.

This train has flexible Solar Photovoltaic Panels manufactured in India for the first time by the pioneer company of Solar PV in India - Central Electronics Limited, a government of India,  Dept of Science and  Technology CPSU. 

Here is an exclusive video of Solar Train entering Safdarjung Railway Station, New Delhi.  This train will be at platform no. 3 of Safdarjung Railway Station, New Delhi for 2 more days and then move to other destinations in its journey covering 20 states imparting knowledge.. साइंस एक्सप्रेस के क्लाइमेट एक्शन स्पेशल ट्रेन पर सेन्ट्रल इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स लिमिटेड के सोलर पैनलों से तीन कोचों को बिजली मिल रही है। कार्बन क्रेडिट देने के साथ-साथ यह पर्यावरण संरक्षण के लिए एक कारगर तरीका भी है। भारत में सौर ऊर्जा क्षेत्र की प्रथम कंपनी सेन्ट्रल इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स लिमिटेड ने सोलर ट्रेन के साथ 15.10.2015 को भारत ही नहीं वरन् विश्व में एक नये अध्याय की शुरुआत की है।

Central Electronics Limited's solar photovoltaic panels/modules are generating electricity for 3 coaches in the Science Express' Climate Action Special train. This will not only earn carbon credits but also prove to be a practical and effective method for environment conservation.
