Satyagrah against rulers turned looters of India

Shri Anna Hazare - the Gandhi of today

Shri Anna Hazare, a Gandhian, who has found support from the massed regarding his Satyagrah or Movement against Corruption said during the night of 24th August 2011, "We were of the view that there were some good people in the Congress but all looters have now come together in the Congress and the country has no future in the hands of such people."  He remarked this after his team of activists' talks with the Indian Govt. about presenting the Janlokpal Bill in the Parliament failed.

The Congress is indeed a pack of looters with no morals. The poor people of India voted them in power in expection that this party will lead the country and help it in becoming the strongest economy in the world. The citizens believed that this party would bring an end to their suffering. But the fact is different. This party which has looted the country since Independence, looted all the more. New and bigger scams have come up and public's hard earned money has been wasted and looted by the corrupt politicians who are in power. The rulers have become looters.

It is beyond doubt that the Congress bought votes of the poor citizens of India through the money that they had looted during earlier years. They distributed money, alcohol and snacks in juggies to get support of the poor people during the election. Congress' politicians promote the illegal migrants (particularily Bangladeshies) and help them attain Indian Citizenship so that their vote bank may increase. They have divided our country in the name of religion and caste. They have corroborated with foreign countries and bought the media to shut the mouth of the opposition parties and now also the public which is demanding rooting-out of corruption. They are working hand in glove with MNCs and foreign countries to demoralise the Indian public by castigating the saints of India.

Congress, the ruler for the maximum period post-independence, has looted India since independence and stacked the looted money in Swiss Banks. Now when the mass movement against corruption has started these people are uncomfortable and disturbed. They fear that their corrupt rule would come to end and punishments would be metted to them.

The corrupt politicians are now playing the card of Constitution and Parliament little realising that the Constitution was made by the people and is for the people. The Parliament is also by the people and for the people. Constitution and Parliament are not in trouble by the peaceful movement of Shri Hazare rather corrupt politicians are in trouble.

Politicians should not try to divert attention of public by false alarms. If they do, their regime would not last long. The public knows all. The public has come out in the streets and the powerful slogan 'Vande Matram' is echoing in every nook and corner. Politicians should prove that they are clean by showing respect to the verdict of the mass by adopting the Janlokpal Bill.

The political parties like the BJP, CPI, BJD, RJD, RLD, NCP  and other who are either in govt. or the opposition in Parliament should welcome the Janlokpal Bill and come out in open in support of it. This act only would prove that they are not corrupt and are  willing to be probed under the Janlokpal Bill. The public or the civil society has expections from these parties that they would come out in support of Annna.

(The views expressed by me here are after reading a news titled "Jan Lokpal Bill: Doctors express concern; Anna loses six kgs" on Economics Times website.)
